Shipping & Delivery
How often do letters arrive, and on what schedule?
Two letters a month, mailed the 2nd and 4th week — same rhythm as the story itself, so you're never waiting long to find out what happens next.
Do you ship internationally, or U.S. only?
U.S. only for now. We'd love to bring Who Done It to more places down the road.
How long does shipping take?
Typically 5–8 days from when a letter is mailed.
What if a letter gets lost or damaged in the mail?
Every letter ships with tracking, so we'll usually know if something's gone off track before you do. If a letter never shows up, reach out once you're past the expected delivery window and we'll send a replacement. If it arrives damaged, send us a photo of the unopened package and we'll make it right.
Subscriptions & Billing
How do I cancel my Case File subscription?
Anytime, no questions asked. Cancel from your account and you won't be billed again — you'll still receive whatever's already on its way.
Can I switch from Case File to a prepaid tier mid-story?
Yes — reach out and we'll get you moved over to Detective's Dossier or Master Detective so the rest of the year is paid up in one go.
Do I get charged again after 12 months, or does it end automatically?
Case File simply stops if you cancel — no automatic renewal into a new story. Detective's Dossier and Master Detective are one-time payments, so there's nothing to renew at all.
Can I gift a subscription to someone else?
Yes! Just enter their shipping address at checkout and the letters will go straight to them. (A full gifting flow with gift notes is coming soon — for now, this works great as a surprise.)
The Product Itself
Do I need to solve the mystery, or is it just for fun to read?
However you like. Some readers piece together every clue as they go; others just enjoy the story unfolding. There's no wrong way to read a Who Done It case.
Are the stories appropriate for kids / what age range is this good for?
Who Done It is designed to be enjoyed by the whole family. Each case is a classic whodunit — clever, suspenseful, and free of anything graphic.
Can I read the letters in any order, or do they need to go in sequence?
In sequence — each letter builds on the last, so reading them in order is part of the fun.
Can I get help if I'm stuck?
The letters are designed to be solvable with careful reading, no outside tools needed. But we know the fun is in the challenge, not the frustration, so we've built each mystery to give you what you need if you pay attention. Our advice: reread the last letter or two before assuming you're missing something. It's usually right there.

Do you offer refunds?
Case File is pay-as-you-go: cancel anytime to stop future charges, no refund needed since you're only ever billed for what's already been sent. Detective's Dossier and Master Detective are one-time prepaid purchases and are non-refundable once your first letter has shipped.
